On April 10, 2011 The Jewish Community House of Bensonhurst (JCH) celebrated Mitzvah Day 2011.
Teenagers from across New York City volunteered on an early Sunday morning to help those who are less fortunate and in need of food, toys, and friendship. The day began with a Mitzvah Day rap performed by eight group leaders who rapped about the importance of the day. Then, the volunteers set off to their destinations to perform community outreach. It was a successful day and the volunteers had a great time helping others.
