Last fall, Chris Fig Productions had the privilege of filming Deborah and Matthew’s wedding at the West Point Military Academy in West Point, New York.  The ceremony took place at the Catholic Chapel, a beautiful Gothic Revival structure that was built in 1900.  After the ceremony, Deborah and Matthew and their bridal party took photographs at Trophy Point, the absolute best location for photo taking in West Point.  Next, everyone was off to the wedding reception at The Thayer Hotel which offered panoramic views of the Hudson River.

Many of the guests at the wedding traveled from around the country and from around the world to attend.  As a result, Deborah and Matthew’s family and friends met for the very first time on the wedding day.  It was truly a unique experience in which the wedding reception was a genuine celebration of two families joining together.  As Matthew stated in an impromptu speech, “Everyone knowing that Debbie’s side of the family from the south – two step, cowboy boots, whole nine yards – my family from the north, never two stepped in the whole entire world . . . and what we’re going to do is play a country song . . . and the people [from the south] come together with [the people from the north] and teach them how to two-step because my family does not know how to two-step even though it is a time honored tradition.”  Congratulations to Deborah and Matthew on their marriage and bringing two great families together.
